Today was my first day of therapy. The person I spoke with asked me a lot of questions, relating to my family, friends, etc. I was very anxious in the beginning, because I didn’t really know the person I was talking to.
We discussed different types of therapy, including CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) , and something to do with medication as well as therapy. I forget what that one is called, though.
During the first bit, I was by myself, then I had too much anxiety, and my dad came in to give me a little extra support..
They are very good people there, and I had a positive experience.
My next appointment is in 4-6 weeks, because they are very booked up right now.
